All things Beauty Industry So where to begin? 11 years in the industry, Ive seen a lot, its what lead me to start my own business at the age of 21. I was young, I had the idea of fake it till you make it, although I didn't fake it, I studied my Beauty Diploma, graduated from the French Beauty Academy and went full throttle into Business. I wanted to be Happy, it was as simple as that.. No more working for people who took advantage, No more toxic workplaces, as the industry can be full of that sort of drama. Just peace, me and my clients enjoying working together. That idea of being "Happy" took me much further than I could have imagined, back then at the young age of 21. Moving on, I've had a long successful career, shops, great staff, and salons along the way. After opening my first studio, I became pregnant with my first baby. I remember wanting to do it all, but once he was born, it got busy, postpartum was so real. After a year of motherhood, things became overwhelming, the salon, the managing of a team.. so I took myself back to the place that started it all, that one ideal "Happy", I wanted to be Happy, So I packed up my busy salon in Palm Beach Gold Coast and relocated to my Home town Murwillumbah, on the Northern Rivers. I didn't know what to expect, would I be busy, will people even find me, will it work out? These thoughts plaguing my mind, the precipice of change. Grateful, that's what's next, After moving into my new studio, I found my studio filled with beautiful woman, who were so excited to have my expertise come to their small country town. It has kept me going. Sometimes things can look so strange before they evolve, like downsizing my salon to a studio space, going back to just me, alone working.. It's been the best thing for my career, health, family and I can say I'm still "Happy". Now onto my next rebrand, and venture, into a new studio space in Murwillumbah. I can't wait to show you all what's in store. I want to say Thank you, to all my clients, the support has been unmatched. I've started this Blog to connect with everyone.
